A Rod suspension cut from 211 to 162, and that includes the 2014 Postseason.
A Rod said he will take the decision to federal court. What a mess.

I am not a baseball fan, but I think it is not fair that they pick on A ROD. We all know steriods is a big problem in baseball and if they suspended everyone that took steriods most teams wouldnt be able to field a team.

You dont have to watch the news or read a newspaper to figure out where your money is going. Drugs shouldnt be taxed. But that is the liberal way. Every regressive tax has liberal-democrat written all over it. Alcohol, gasoline, cigarette, gas, cell phone, lottery, etc... all taxes passed by liberals that love the poor, that hurt the poor the most. again - comical. That is reality, liberals dont want to hear it. They dont have the intellect to even understand it.

I love liberals, just ignore the facts and move on. In NY you have property tax, school tax, shall I go on. All regressive. Why not have a flat percentage tax, one tax - not regressive, not progressive, just a fair tax. Slim down governemnt to the bones, only folks that dont like that are people in governemnt, or the people that work for it. I wonder where you fit in? hmmm. It is a gang mentalility with you guys, you are not righteous, quite the contrary. |

The rest of the news leans left or far left. So if you are in the camp of msnbc and cnn - enjoy Piers Morgan and the rest of them. I dont think I have seen him win a debate with anyone he disagreed with. When it comes to the economy I would put more stock into what Milton Friedman would say rather than folks like Obama, Pelosi, Ried, and alike. Corporations contribute more to this country than the demagogues like that do. We live in the greatest country in the world not because of liberalism, but because of capitalism. |

I don't watch the news ... Most is slanted toward a single point of few ... And you just assume I am a liberal because I don't drink the Kool Aid.
Without going over your head ... The most dramatic change is that corporations are now driven by having to answer to Wall Street quarterly on earnings and keep their stock propped up ... A recent trend w low interest rates companies are borrowing to buy back stock (which increases share value) rather than making investments to create jobs ... There is more corporate cash stockpiled than any time in history

So your not a liberal? Funny how liberals never want to admit what they are. Kind of like a president we have in office. On the other point, the government is doing that with quantitative easing - the value of our money is being diluted as we speak. Essentially another tax. Makes folks feel better about thier portfolios, but the reality is your money isnt worth what it was back then.
