St Bonaventure is a HUGE team, which Siena is going to have a hell of a time matching. They have nobody under 6'3" and play two 7'0"ers. They just beat the hell out of Canisius and are 3-0.

They have 5'8" freshman, hasn't played, 5'11" junior, hasn't played, and 6'0" senior, 2 minutes total in their 3 games. Everyone who plays is 6'3" or bigger.

No game is a gimmie for us playing 4 freshmen a ton of minutes but we had a top 50 team on the ropes on the road and now we have two very winnable game in front of us with St. Bonaventure at home and Cornell on the road. We could lose them both or win them both or split. Gun to my head I'd say we go 1-1. I expect to go into January with a bad record but I do think we'll get a couple of wins - as long as we continue to play hard and smart for 40 minutes.

They are 183 in the RPI right now and were picked 3rd in a watered down A-10. They made a surprise run to the Sweet Sixteen last year, that doesn't make them great now. They lost Ramon Galloway, by far their best player, and brought in nothing of note.

The RPI means nothing right now, unless you really think Northern Colorado's win against Kansas State makes them the #5 team in the country lol.

Well, that's true, but at least I had some stat to judge by. For MTS to just say Lasalle is a Top 50 team, I was curious where he came up with that. If he was judging by last year, hell, call them Top 16. If he's judging this year, they are not close to Top 50. They were picked 3rd in a much weaker than last year A-10, they lost to Manhattan and struggled against Quinnipiac and Siena.

No way are they a Top 50 team this year - they may squeak into the Top 100 when it's all said & done. Currently KenPom has them at 108 (Siena is at 280, FWIW - they improved 17 spots since their last game). St. Bonaventure is currently at 86 in KenPom.

Siena is an RPI killer right now. That is probably going to get worse before it gets better. The bright side: it will get better.

The bright side: it will get better. mid-majority was out at the game vs. LaSalle and they gushed about the young talent that Siena has.....................they indicate the program will be on it's way back in short order and will be a handful in the MAAC once again..............this is coming from the guys who watch ALL the mid-majors across the land.............encouraging that others see the progress already !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bonnies favored by 5 1/2. Not bad. With that said taking the Bonnies in this one. That huge lineup could cause problems. Hope I'm wrong.
