Going to be tougher but a win at Vermont is attainable-- last year's result was a 54-53 loss. The Saints have lost 3 straight to the Catamounts but only by a combined 7 points. They still hold a 21-8 overall edge. This season Vermont started off with a 10 point defeat vs St. Joe's. Of course, in the Saints first game vs Albany the score was tied before coach got an ill-timed T and the Saints missed 10 shots in a row down the stretch. Let's see what they can do on the road, going to be fun.

It would be nice to get this game but I'm keeping my expectations in check other than to continue to get better and get the freshmen experience. Vermont starts 5 seniors and that gym is a tough place to play at especially for a young team. Then we go to LaSalle before coming home for St. Bonnie.. the record won't be pretty early but we just have to stay positive and see the big picture.

We should have won that game too (Mitch only played 6 possibly 7 guys - think that was the season Beard left and we could have used him the second half of the year). If Mitch could almost win there Jimmy & this team could, but you never know with such a young team (anything could happen - could loose by 12 or win by 1). I'd like to get that first win out of the way sooner rather than later.

Vandenburgh saying "It's a must win" on 1300 this morning. Glad his station carries the games but he is a complete tool.

1.Must win games are in the MAAC!
2. Sports radio in Albany is a joke. NYC sports radio is 100x better! They call the games as they are, don't have pointless drama or joke around like 4th graders. O' yeah ...and ask the hard questions!

Could somebody please explain why Siena can't do free video feeds, like Vermont and the Horizon League does? Why must Siena try to get every penny from the fans? Why can't the MAAC move to free video feeds too?
I love my team and I would love to see free Siena feeds. Maybe one day...

My problem isn't the cost it's the quality if the feed. The video quality is embarrassing.

Siena is trying to position itself for the opportunity to move up in conference (not just basketball but many Siena sports). Not a bad idea, but obviously some won't like this. Remember, they're still paying for another HC's salary. Money's got to come from somewhere.
