Looking ahead to the season opener one week away, I started thinking about who UAlbany had lost to graduation/defection, and thought it would be interesting to see what percentage of production is lost from last season. If interested in the totals, I attached the excel document for your reference. Some notable similar percentages: Both teams lost over 45% of their minutes played from last season. Siena loses 49% of their scoring, while UAlbany loses 53.5%. Siena's Outliers:- They only lose 23% of their 3PFG attempts, and 19.8% of made 3PFG - They lose 60.2% of rebounds SUNY Albany's Outliers:- They only lose 38% of rebounds - They lose a whopping 79% of their 3PTFG attempts, and 81.7% of 3PTFG made While production is obviously replaced on a collegiate level every year, it's interesting that the statistical categories are nearly the mirror opposite even though overall minutes/points lost are similar. Looking forward to the Albany Cup! Starting the season with this game is akin to the Daytona 500 kicking off NASCAR season. Attachments:UA vs. Siena.xlsx (18.15 KB)

Wow, this is very interesting, thanks for doing this and posting it. Although percent of rebounds lost includes OD's own missed shots and our 3PFG attempt/conversion should be improved with Ryan Oliver in the mix this year and Evan in a very different role. Just MHO.
