JO and BB moving ahead of Silas in the rotation shouldn't be a big surprise to anyone. I know he was heralded as a defensive juggernaut the fact is he can't stay out of foul trouble long enough to prove it.
I hope he comes around, he certainly paid his dues playing behind OD last year. I can't stand looking back at last season. Yuck!

Can't say he is foul prone now as the games have not started...Patsos said he is the 8th man that can play 5 or 25 min a game based on his performance. ..we have a 3 headed center Silas will have a chance to play his way in every game and practice going forward

Any moderate success we had last year was when we went small with Burdine at the 4, but that was when we had the leading rebounder in the country. So when we do go small, Lavon really needs to concentrate on rebounding the ball. BTW, Lavon will be as big as almost every 4 in the MAAC anyway

Long will be a very effective power forwad Lavon is more than a power forward. Is this debate going to go on all year ? Your son just received complements and his important role on the team...which whether you want to accept it or not is rebounding, and your response is how much more of a game he has. You have made it perfectly clear your opinion of Lavon's game over multiple posts and threads. Please give it a rest already. The team comes first.

Always on the defensive....or is campaigning? I know what he can do, I said in THAT line-up, as a PF he will need to forget about being the next Jamal Mashburn, just be more of a Dennis Rodman in those situations.

There is no debate...Patsos has made it clear what Lavon brings. Its always team first but that does not mean you or anyone should put his game in a box it does not belong in..no need for you to make this into more than it is...

She can take a complement and added that he's more than a PF. It's a fact. It 'a going to be an exciting year. PS. Where is everyone? Practice starts soon and there's only 6 of us here.

Take your feelings out and read my words...what Lavon brings to the team as a 4 is far from Rodman. .Lavon is a ballhandler that will help break pressure ..he will rebound on both ends and start the break with the dribble and outlet passes...that is his game and he will do those things no matter what number you give him...to say he is a PF does not recognize his game There is no need to campaign and I am not defensive..Patsos runs the show and Lavon fits in well..the team is headed in the right direction

Here we go again. We all understand he is the next Lebron. But he is going to have to concentrate on rebounding to help this team be competitive.
