Let's see how the season plays out but if the expectations are met for this year as a team, then yes you will see him as a first team player.

As this season rapidly approaches, we all have to feel very optimistic about the way it will play (pun intended) out while we watch our new faces and returning players mesh and grow. The Siena cupboard is full once again with talented pieces and we have a new, and proven "Chef" to set our table. Returning players will be able to really show abilities that were masked over the last two seasons. We are no longer a single point of offense team and won't have to anticipate shot clock runouts and forced shots while we see one player double or triple teamed. It will be fun again, win or lose! There are a lot of slots on the season ending all MAAC teams and I am confident that Siena will deservedly fill our fair share of them. Our kids are the wild cards that the other coaches have only had a glimpse of.

Rob Poole will get noticed for his 3pt shooting but I think what will land him on an All-MAAC post-season team (the one that matters)is the intensity with which he competes, particularly on defense. From what I saw the past two years, no kid played harder than Rob.
