Apparently, Lavon's biggest fan is his mom.
My mind is blown.

I like that Brett Bisping listed Bill Lambeer as one of his favorite athletes, I recall Patsos saying in one of his interviews that he wanted Brett to play with more of a chip on his shoulder like Bill Lambeer.
Given Brett was a little young during Lambeer's heyday, I'm going to guess this was a tip of the cap to 'ole coach.

I don't mind if Brett plays tuff, just not dirty or a thug.

Brett wasn't alive during his heyday.

Yes, I'm aware Brett was but a gleam in his father's eye during Lambeer's playing days. That is my point; it seems like an obvious nod to Patsos' comparison.
If anything, at least it shows the players are listening to their coach :-)

I think that the Lambeer reference was there since last year, wasn't it?

I bet Brett looked him up after Patsos told him that and prob believes he can bring that type of play to the team.

Obviously without all the cheap and dirty stuff Agreed Being a Jordan fan, I couldn't stand Laimbeer or much of the rest of that dirty team.
