Magic, if you were to look at the dalydoseof hoops site, you would know that the author is Jaden Daly. So much for your foolish comment.

Simply a minor improvement (in my opinion) to create a greater contrast in text color to background color which makes reading the site a little easier.

So is no one at all concerned that against 4 common opponents we were outperformed by Sacred Heart all four times?

So is no one at all concerned that against 4 common opponents we were outperformed by Sacred Heart all four times? i suppose it depends on how you look at it. sacred heart is a team that returned 4 starters and like 7 of their top eight players from a year ago. they are playing the same system etc. (4 Juniors and 4 Seniors) counter that with Siena who is starting an entirely new system, new coach, and missing Brookins, Burdine, Anosike, Martens from a year ago as well as Hymes suffering from a broken hand... throw in Wright, Wolfe, Long, Ogunyemi all as freshman with all of a week of practicing in the system and no... it doesnt concern me

At least they open with Fairfield so that will give us a gauge on where they stand. If they get blown out that won't be a good sign.

Sacred Heart returns their 5 top scorers. The kid who graduated averaged like 4 ppg.. Nick Greenbacker they have a ton of experience and were probably not rattled much by rule changes, style of play etc. you forget that although some of the scores were closer there were times Siena was drilling some of these teams. remember Frans first year... Siena would be KILLING teams and let them back in as the young guys needed to learn to FINISH GAMES i edited my post above to show that they are playing 4 juniors and 4 seniors

I see that ESPN still has stats and schedules from last year but have updated the rosters so when I clicked on the leading scorer and it said senior I assumed that meant he was now graduated.

So is no one at all concerned that against 4 common opponents we were outperformed by Sacred Heart all four times? So you don't think those teams benefited from their games? It's not static, these other teams made adjustments. We did just fine. Relax there is 2 months to work out the kinks.

So is no one at all concerned that against 4 common opponents we were outperformed by Sacred Heart all four times? Not really. JP is tinkering with the lineups, giving everyone playing time to see what they've got, and everyone is learning their roles. The team never went full tilt with starters playing typical minutes. A couple of times when Siena was up big JP emptied the bench and you had Hooper and the 3 walk-ons out there resulting in closer final scores. You're reading too much into results that don't mean much.

I just thought it was a little rough that we were outperformed every game by a 9-20 team from the NEC. But we may just find out November 9th when they play Fairfield that Sacred Heart will actually be a solid team this year. Of course by then we will already have beat Albany and be riding high anyways.
