The below linked article discusses the real possibility that big conferences will begin paying cash stipends to athletes .
Personally I have mixed feelings regarding stipends. i do believe the payments are overdue for the athletes but I fear that stipends will hurt smaller conference schools such as the MAAC and possibly the A10 and destroy the NCAA Tournament as we know it.
