A team is not depleted when they are down two offensive players. They are a top 10 team, some depth should be expected and losing to Siena in lacrosse, even down a couple of players, is an embarrassment of the highest order. Unless those two players are some of the top talent in all of D1 lacrosse...Bottom line is Siena caught a huge break and capitalized...congrats... Very good win for Siena...very good win. Congrats you've upped your W% to 18% Hard to underestimate his importance to this team and he's not just an "offensive player"...From InsideLacrosse He's a superstar in the sport... Lyle Thompson — Amid a fantastic season for the Danes and one in which he’s got a legitimate shot at coming close to or possibly besting the NCAA single-season points record (89 points, record is 114), Great Danes sophomore Lyle Thompson missed Albany’s game against Siena Tuesday night to be on hand for the birth of his second child. I’m sure we’ll hear some commentary from those who are critical of this situation, but I for one will not be a part of that. This kid doesn’t need to defend the decisions he’s made or the life he’s leading; in fact, he’s got plenty of reason to be proud. Life is more important than lacrosse and this is one of those instances where it becomes the overarching theme. Lyle’s a young man from a culture that a lot of people in lacrosse would have a difficult time understanding. To me, it only adds intrigue to the incredible season Lyle is putting together. No doubt it is one he, his family and his teammates will never forget. The Danes will lick their wounds from the Siena loss, and if they reach the NCAA tournament by way of the America East’s automatic qualifier, the loss to the Saints and the fact Lyle wasn’t there will likely be a moot point.

Look, you were playing Siena, UA still should have won. Like you said, UA has won more than 80% of the time against Siena and he was on the field for only one of those wins. His absence should not make a difference in the outcome and is not a valid excuse. You know that to be a fact, why suggest otherwise?

LOL...sigh...whatever. Just tried to explain that it's not just losing some third stringer let alone two top flight players. bill is right though should have still one, it was a top 10 team in the country and shit the bed. Also gotta give credit to Siena for pulling it out. Again, congrats...enjoy the big win.

Yeah, but a 19 y.o. with TWO mistakes? What's his wife (heehee) thinking?
ps--and isn't rocks/glass houses? or is that your horrible attempt at humor? lol No judging. Your Hillbilly can have 6 kids before he uses up his eligibilty for all I care. I just hope they're born again on the day we play UA in lacrosse and we can all watch you squirm about losing a sporting event to such an inferior college! lol

No doubt. You guys are like Stanford/Alabama/Louisville. The only question is why do you come on this board? You're so transparent with your "little guy" complex, it's sad. You're whole world crumbles if Siena beats UA in a sport you supposedly "dominate." And beating Siena in the one sport anyone in this area cares about, sadly ranks as one of the top 5 days in your life...no doubt.
