Event takes place on Sunday April 28th at TC Williams High School in Alexandria Virginia. Two games, first is the District All Stars vs. the Suburban All Stars. In this game Stephan Jiggetts is a member of the District All Stars. Michael Wolfe who was committed to Patsos while at Loyola is a member of the Suburban All Stars. Sounds like he is going to go the Prep route and might be a target next year. The second game is the Capital All Stars vs. United States All Stars. In this game Marquis Wright is a member of the Capital All Stars. Wright and David Kadiri (UMBC) look like the only participants in this game that aren't headed to a major conference school. Edit to add link to announcement: dmvelite.com/news/capital-classic-rosters-released

But Long was 4th team all-met like Jiggets, so his absence on one of these rosters is a bit perplexing. It may have come down to not enough spots at his position in his particular locale's team. I wouldn't read anything into his absence from these rosters.

I think that there is a distinction to be drawn. The Capital and District All-Star teams are composed of kids who played in or around Washington (Wright and Jiggetts), not those who played in Baltimore (White) or its suburbs (Long). The only Baltimore kid, Kam Williams from Mt. St. Joseph's, is playing on the U.S. team.
Jiggetts were on the same All-Met Fourth Team picked by the Washington Post, which apparently included everything south of Baltimore and into northwern Virginia. DMVElite had both of them as Third Team All-Maryland.
I'm sure that PPC can confirm or clarify what I am saying.

Knick is correct about the regions but Columbia is halfway between Balt and DC so Howard County is covered by the Balt Sun and Washington Post....Lavon already played in two senior ALL-STAR games and that is all he is allowed to play ....2nd annual Howard County Showcase and the Roundball classic sponsored by Buffalo Wings in Haggerstown MD Wolfe ' s played in that game as well ...
