If a thread for this has already been created feel free to move this there. I went on the Nil site. I don’t see any place on the web site to make a donation specifically to Men’s Basketball.

Don’t believe that is an option at this point.
As someone who is an ardent power 5 football fan and spends way too much time on message boards, from what I’ve seen at the power 5 level, the two things that would help grow NIL participation is 1) directed donations by sport and 2) subscription model.

Memberships are available on the website - www.saintsmarchon.com - and are annual renewals. The money goes into our NIL "pool" but men's BB gets priority for distribution. There is also an option to make a one time donation and, in that case, you can specify where the money is to be spent. So you can specifically call out a sport or even a particular player. If you have questions, please use the email link on the website and we will clear up any questions. SMO is a vehicle for all of you to use as you would like. That is one of the major benefits to allow fans to direct their donations. Obviously its easiest with the annual membership and men's BB remains the priority for those funds.

It'd be great if auto-renewing monthly contributions were a possibility, rather than just the annual contribution. Just helps a bit with budgeting and cash flow for some. I think many people here would be willing to trade a few of our streaming subscriptions for a monthly NIL contribution. Regardless, we all should support however much we can.

Hey, keep your hands off my streaming subscriptions, it's a long off season and other than golf I need something to keep my mind off politics.

The monthly renewal is the key. An annual renewal still feels more like a 1 time donation and will limit who donates and how much. Someone might not be willing/able to part with $1,000 at one time, but if you give them the option to donate $75/month on a autobill they will build that in to their budget.

We will see if we can get expand our offerings to give folks more options.

I tried to make a one-time donation specifically for men’s bb. When I got to the additional information portion it just asked for name and email. No instruction on how to specifically donate to men’s bb. Why is this so difficult?

Be patient we're a 4 person operation and nobody full time.
