I’ve seen a ton of comments about the Westchester County Center. The floor level seats are a terrible place to watch a game, the concessions are not up to standard, and the bathrooms are inconvenient at best. I understand the desire for a better location, but I don’t think the County Center is that place I saw somebody say they had a somewhat recent update to the WCC. Not sure if that’s true or not though. The trouble is there’s not really any other medium sized arenas in the area. Even Bridgeport wis too big. The IVY league is playing at Columbia this year so I think it’s time for the MAAC to swallow their pride and play in a smaller arena. I was just at the County Center two weeks ago for the section 1 playoffs. The Westchester Knicks play there now. As a result they have upgraded the technology some. Problem is the floor seats which should be your money maker are an awful place to watch a game. If you are on the side of the team benches you actually can’t see over the players ( and that is with high school players not college players sitting on the bench).

the league is a joke and it stemmed from the Ensor years.............NO WAY should the women and men be playing on the same day, in fact they shouldn't even be playing at the same Arena, imho..............no other conference in the country does this.........and next year we are 13 teams, egads............ It's actually a disservice to the women too. The majority of their tournament is played during the day on weekdays. No one is watching unless they rearrange their lives.

The positive is when the men's and women's teams get the chance to watch each other's games. But even that impact is lessened with the tournament spread out over so many days that both programs from one school are there the same day.

Being an older retired guy I watched most of the men's gams and some of the women's games. I also listened during timeouts and halftime to WVCR's coverage of Siena/MSM game. ESPN+ coverage of that game seemed to be done by the MSM broadcast team who seemed to be cheerleading for the Mount. Steve Amedio who has seen every MAAC tournament since Siena joined the league said the small crowds have resulted in a dull atmosphere. During halftime Joe Mixie interviewed T T the new Commissioner who said format changes for next year will happen especially with four more teams in the MAAC. He said no game should ever start as late as the Siena/Niagara game and that four games a day not six should be the maximum. Speaking of attendance I think Marist brought a lot of fans to the game against Niagara. I think fan support helped the Foxes to turn things around in the second half to beat the Purple Eagles. The Saint Peter's/Rider game did what it could to set basketball back forty years. I had to turn the game off three times. During breaks in all the ESPN + coverage the Commissioner was begging viewers to come on down to the shore.

Having the MAAC tourney in Atlantic City is a failed experiment IMO. MAAC needs to rethink location and format. What they are doing now simply is not working very well.

Hey, Matt Balanc you now have time to cut the hair you've been growing for six years. By the way Marist will knock out Fairfield.

If St. Peter's wins they probably won't get a rematch with Purdue who will get a winner of the play in game.

It’s unbelievable that Saint Peter’s can be that competitive and we couldn’t win more that 3 MAAC games in this conference with our 5th year headcoach. It’s really embarrassing.
Also how many MAAC tournament wins for Carm in his 5 seasons?
