Note that this poll is NOT what you want to happen, it is what you BELIEVE will happen to our Saints.

Unless someone comes to the table with his buyout Carm will be back next year. I also believe Wyce is gone and Carm brings in Burns. Why is he so heavy on JUCOs? The new wave is the portal-didn’t he learn anything after this year? Would love to see Carm gone but it’s not going to happen.

Would love to see Carm gone but it’s not going to happen. you could have a good mix of kids form the portal and very talented juco players..........and sprinkle in a HS frosh or 2 that have upside (alot of them now are being over-looked unless they are top 100 because coaches don't have time to develop), but they can't be projects either...........stay away from Euro/foreign unless you hit a homerun..........

Why "split the baby"? How about the source. I still wish he decided to go to St. John's when we had the chance to clean house once and for all.

I think we can safely turn our discussion from Carm’s departure to when will our first portal entry be, who will it be and how many players and who will follow.

Carm has to plan on recruiting a full starting 5 every year. He may extend an offer or not but that's got to be the plan. If a great kid stays, like Eley, then great. I truthfully don't think Carm wants to do that much work. He will need to be on the road A LOT. I remember a few years back after Roy Williams won the national title at UNC, he was on the road the next day recruiting. Think Carm would do that? I don't. I think we'd hear "Siena fans expect a national title every year"

The results of this poll are very simple - NONE of us really know what is coming next - we all have our opinions as fans and supporters of the Saints, but very few saw Carm being fired today. It happens - that is the business, and if your program is ranked as lowly as Siena was, there is no future without a change. The atmosphere at MVP Arena this year was terrible, and game after game fans were heading for the exits early. So, we have to tip our hats to whoever made the decision, celebrate the future of Siena basketball, and wish Carm and his family well in the future.
