The man simply can never do an interview without saying stupid shit, and whenever he says it’s on him the next several comments are his excuses and blaming it on others. Thank God he is gone.

It was certainly a raw, revealing interview that showed both sides of Carm - willing and almost eager to take the blame for everything and then in the next breath diverting it and dumping it on others...sad...certainly not an article he'd attach to his resume, timing is not one of his strong suits...IMO...

We didn’t win enough this year...
Siena expects to win every year and that's what makes it so special.
4-28. No, you didn't win enough. Yes, we expect to win and you knew that coming in. Why are you shocked!?!?!

I said all season that he just didn’t know when to stop talking, well apparently he’s going out the same way. Good riddance.

Carm is gone. Not sure why the hate has to continue. He’s a good man, from all accounts has great family and extended family. God bless him during this transitional time.
My guess is that the haters hated him from the beginning. 🤔
Let’s make Siena great again 2024!
Go Saints!

I think it's continuing because he seems to be actively talking our new recruits into decomitting. They probably would have anyway but I think you may have to put up with a little more venting until the ties are completely severed for awhile. I do see your point. Hopefully we learn news soon but I also hope the fans are patient and let the process play out. Got to get this right.

Quote per Carm;
“I talked to Jakai and his coach and his assistant coach, yesterday, and Jakai was upset. He said he really wanted to play for me and I told him I’d still be able to help and help guide him, so he’s going to de-commit, and then I was texting with Jojo Moore, from Texas, who probably, most likely, will get out of his National Letter of Intent,” said Maciariello, “then I had to tell a bunch of different kids that we had lined up for official visits, ‘thank you for believing in us, but I was just let go.”
These players have committed to Siena they should be communicating with the College NOT the coach that no longer represents it, this includes current recruits in the pipeline and players on the roster. Carm has absolutely no business talking to anyone regarding scholarships or anything business related at this point. That seems to be a major conflict of interest on Carm’s part and needs to be squashed immediately. This is unacceptable.
He’s a vendictive sob and we’ve seen it all season.

One minute he blames himself, next minute he's back to making excuses. Imagine playing for this guy? Must be tough. At least he has time to figure out what went wrong with the team now and re-direct his efforts to BLM.

Carm is gone. Not sure why the hate has to continue. Probably the Troy Record article and him "liking" Sanders de-committing from his alma mater. Just a guess.

I wonder if there are any stipulations about not harming the school/program as a condition for his buyout...

Moving forward we do wish Carm and his family well . (Know them from their Shen days as students and athletes). But playing the victim and the anybody-but-me blame game is vindictive and unprofessional and demeans him. Yes he is a role model and a member of not only the Shen community but the larger Siena one too and words/actions matter.
