How about the 18 and 6 against Villanova the year earlier? Sorry I left out the double double he had against Pursue in 2010. Didn’t he also have a great game against Stanford as a freshmen

Marc Brown struggles in up games. That kid Newbern from Minnesota really bothered him. He had legit size and athleticism.

Pickett, Ryan Rossiter, Brown, Bennerman, Prosper off the top of my head. Probably Moore, Kenny, and Eddy Ubiles too. Honestly though, given we know that MAAC guys consistently move up as transfers, the list may be longer. Kassius Robertson started on a Mizzou team that I think made the NCAA Tournament. Takal Molson is going to start or at least play big minutes for Seton Hall next year. I think guys like Bisping, Quis, JO, and Elijah from recent memory would have been recruited to play big roles if they had another year of eligibility. That’s why I was trying to compare it to 20 years ago, when teams were much stronger across the board. Kids stayed longer in school. Sure the 5th year is a huge factor in transferring again. And all the Siena kids you named, none of them ever got drafted like McClinton did.

It would be quite an achievement for Siena and the MAAC.

Google Clem Haskins and NCAA Violations. You’ll likely find an answer to your question.

MAAC says that student athletes will not be allowed on campus for June and July. Well, it's a good year for Siena to not have a lot of turnover from their rotation then. Should, in theory, be a little easier for them to adjust than some other teams.

I have it from a very reliable source that Pitino is conducting secret summer drills in the basement of the Iona administration building. He has also commandeered President Seamus Carey’s office for his own use, since it’s “more convenient and a lot nicer than the doghouse I was assigned to.”
