Yup all the best to Walker but he had his chance at Siena. I fully trust Carm and the staff. Carm is a better recruiter than his predecessor. May I remind you his predecessor got Pickett. Hopefully Carpenter is great but we'll have to wait and see how they turn out before a declaration like that. I agree with postponing declarations. However, I’d say Pickett was probably something like 40% Patsos, 40% Carm, 20% JC Pickett was City Rocks and Spire....JC was connected to neither. He mostly just said yes.

I'd take him if we have 2+ to give. His potential is real. He's like a Harris..if Harris was a PG. His FT rate was pretty high compared to what Pickett and Carey are doing as well. He could be a nice PPS guy down the line once he improves his jumper and is more focused on the rim. Ahem...we now have two to give. But I'd like another shooter and a big man. Walker doesn't really offer anything we don't already have - we're all set on 6'4 - 6'7 guards who aren't shooting specialists.

Let's not downplay the importance of saying "Yes". And recruiting is a two-way street. Jalen didn't come to Siena only because he liked Carm. Carm wasn't going to be his head coach, so Jalen and the people he had helping him make a decision must have liked Jamion, and wanted him to play for Jamion..
