FYI- just read that official at Siena game tested positive. Use caution and be well. [br Extremely vague and confusing. An official at a Siena game? In November or March? Also, 3 different conferences mentioned. Really? The reporting associated with this pandemic is soooo messed up, inaccurate, and flat out poor.

It literally says it right in the tweet lol Perhaps MA8 is confused by the "NCAA Officials" thinking admin vice the "zebras" that are NCAA officials...he/she may not realize that the zebras are very mobile animals and move from game to game and conference to conference on a daily basis...

Speaking of the virus, I want to officially apologize to all for my behavior (posts) during the MAAC Tournament on this subject). My ignorance to the fact that all the actions were geared to “flattening the curve” so that we as a society try & prevent the country’s limited ICU beds (ventilators) from being needed for the at risk patients. While I didn’t take this serious enough, at that time, I do understand why those events occurred now. I’m sorry for my comments/attitude at that time.

Yes that must be it. As an aside, it highlights what I was saying about how officials are stretched thin with the over proliferation of d1 teams. They do multiple conferences on a daily basis and it's still not enough to keep up with the demand for quality.

The numbers were staggering and the efforts will hopefully make the doomsday scenario never happen. I liken this to y2k. Remember all that work we did in 1998 and 1999? And then nothing happened in 2000? It's because of all the work we did in 1998 and 1999.

I liken this to hurricane sandy. Living on long island we knew it was coming, expected it would be bad and then adjusted almost daily as the challenges changed. No No power or heat at first and then no gas. People huddled up for two weeks plus and almost nothing happened business wise or socially. Eventually things got back to normal. This will last longer and take longer to recover from. Just Stay home, stay safe and connect with people via the video phones or video conferencing.

I'm sure glad the ref wouldn't let me blow his whistle during the timeouts in AC!
