A 5'7 point guard is a great addition. She committed to Clemson during her junior year then recommitted when the coach was fired. She then committed to W&M after her junior year but apparently did not sign a letter of intent, based on what I found on the W&M website.

Congrats to Coach Jacques and her staff! Wouldn't it be exciting to have both our hoops teams have big years in the 19-20 season!!!

Wow, top 30 in nation recruit!
Hears hoping she may be to Siena’s Women’s program what Brown, Bennerman, Moore or Pickett were/are to the Men’s program.
Also, here’s hoping she’s the building block to catapult our Women’s program to eventually the top of the MAAC!!!

Top 30 at her position. Better win this year Yes, that’s what I meant but now see how it didn’t clarify that. In any case I can’t remember when Siena men’s or women’s BBall teams got a top 30 in the nation, at a specific position. This has to be considered very good news. Regarding “winning this year” I believe that’s the plan every year. Just I don’t get caught up in the negative if that doesn’t occur. I know you and others don’t care for coach but that won’t stop me from continuing my support. I leave the hiring/firing up to the admin. My fan job is just to support the product my favorite team puts out there. Just like my last place Royals.

Coach is getting paid six figures to win. After 7 years she needs to win or we need to find someone who can win. Simple business. Most of use have to win every year at our jobs, we don’t get to win just once every seven years

I’m not a Siena fan because of how Siena runs as a business; I’m a Siena fan because I graduated from Siena and will continue to support its athletics regardless of wins or losses. That’s the difference between me and you/others. I’m a life long Siena fan regardless of their business/coaching decisions. I’m not a fair weather fan who only roots for them when I agree with their coaching decisions.

Get over yourself. I have been a Siena fan since 1977 so I am a life long fan is a 3 generation Siena family. You have a Losers mentality and accepting losing allows losing to continue and spread.

That's the Easter spirit! Thanks Saints22. I’m not sure how a person supporting a program (or favorite team) regardless of wins or losses makes them have “a loser’s mentality” but if that’s the case; I’ve been called worse. To each their own. I simply made a positive comment regarding an incoming recruit and others add the negative “better win now then” comment (as if the team/coaches are purposefully trying to lose or something)). Happy Easter Siena fans.

Happy Easter Siena fans. IS, I'm absolutely certain there is not a regular reader of these pages who would put you on a "Loser mentality" list. That post was a "comedy of the absurd" shot - seems like some folks just have to appear knowledgeable by voicing a negative take. Not even certain how a loser's mentality in a fan, were there one, could translate into trouble for the team in the W-L column. That being said, I know a couple of die hard Siena fan's that only see the negative side of any situation, e.g., up 10 with 3 seconds to go would be paralyzing to them, and choose to LOUDLY voice their paranoia during games - perhaps that behavior's elimination would be a benefit.
