That was one of the greatest games I have ever seen in person. Obviously disappointed we did not win but it just an incredible game. Young and Jalen put on a show for the ages. Got great national attention. Can't wait for next year....Siena has potentially one of the best mid-major backcourts in the country with Pickett and Carey!

To be fair, there’s only 2 mid-major backcourts in Albany County..but yeah, I’d say best in the county!

Soooooooo everybody still think he’s coming back? Barring something crazy - yes. This is what’s suppose to happen teams work you out and build relationships for the future.

What if the teams work him out, say it doesn’t look like you are quite ready, here is what you need to work on, and we would like to see you against better competition. We know he can’t afford to transfer and sit, so if a team says we will put you on our G League team does he sign, make $35k, workout full time and against better competition to prove himself to be ready to sign as a free agent next year? Where does he improve more, back here or going that route?

Soooooooo everybody still think he’s coming back? I have no idea if he is coming back or not but this is exactly what was planned/expected when he filed for the draft. This is a chance for him to wow some teams in individual or small group workouts. He should do as many as he can fit in. His size and strength (and stats) are enough to make teams interested in him especially if they didn't see him live during the season much. Hope he kills it.

Then when he doesn't come back, how many others will bail since playing with him is the only reason they stayed or commited to come here.

C'mon people - it should not be at all surprising that he has invites to several camps - REMEMBER, to the rest of the world outside the all-powerful MAAC (NOT!), he is a total unknown other than thru some very impressive stats and a blog alert from some young wannabe NBA scout. While he is absolutely key to our upcoming season, he is not the team's "bilge plug" in the sense that his unlikely, IMO, early departure will result in a flood of other transfers. He will be tested in the camps and the G-league much more so than he was last season - he'll be playing against the cream of the fresh crop, all of whom will be doing their damnedest to advance their own games and NBA ambitions. Re any recommendation to get experience playing against up competition, I think that horse is already out of the barn - by the time he gets his "report card", I doubt many higher level programs have a slot available AND SIGNIFICANT PLAYING TIME. Let's put aside the potential doom and gloom and save it for next March-April, while at the same time supporting this staff and team to continue our rebound and create a stable environment that will keep it going...
