now... bad news yes but from a future player development perspective. A bright spot in a bad situation. Guys like Pickett and Darwiche are going to have to grow up fast.

This certainly hurts. Best wishes for a full recovery.

Yup...tough break for Khalil....but a great opportunity for a guy like Darwiche to step up. The foundation will look really good going forward if Darwiche and Pickett both turn out to be key cogs this year as freshmen.

What a bummer ... he was starting to come into his own after Nico left the team ... I was so looking forward to see his progression this season ... Hoping for a FULL recovery

Tough blow... Wish him much luck and health. Hopefully a full recovery. Hate to see this happen to a young man going into the season.
Good luck.

Tough blow. Khalil was likely going to be the constant we could most lean on for offense - hopefully has a speedy recovery and comes back strong next year.
Time for the kids to play!

This is a bummer. Was looking forward to seeing him play this year under Jamion. Surprised that I didn't notice him to be limping at the sneak peek. Talked to him for a bit and the dude gave me a little man hug at the end - nice kid.
I'm sad for him...this year really was set up to be a great opportunity for him.

Ah man ... feel bad for the kid. Tough losing scorers.
Hope all works out for KR and he’s able to bounce back.

That really stinks for him and for the program. Is going to be a monumental achievement to win 10 games this year.

Was the arc floor replaced. Or is it another under armour issue. I know we are not supposed to blame injuries on anything, but at what point do the injuries become more than just “part of the game”.

This team will surely surprise many people. No doubt in my mind...excited to see them exceed expectations. All starting with our coach!

I watched Darwhiche a few months ago when he was on ESPN Plus, will be a nice player. Problem is I don't think he's a volume scorer. Richard was the one guy we could count on to put up points. Outside of transition the offense is going to be pretty ugly this year. Of course it was plenty ugly under Patsos with much better scorers.

I agree bad news and while I would rather have a healthy Richard on the team; I believe it will help in play development for those who may have seen less available time. I still had George’s pencilled in as my starting PH, so the only thing this changes is who backs him up (I though Khalil) would have. Now it’ll be a rotation of up to 4 players who can. As coach says: “Next man up”; players have to be ready when their number is called. This will be a great opportunity for them (but I hate that it’s at the expense of this injury).
