Cut list to top 8, Siena is included. He said he is uncertain who will get his 5th and final OV- the other 4 being Nebraska, George Mason, UNCG, and Umass. Obviously would be nice to get an OV, but his location would allow for him to take unofficials to siena. Any clue if his Nebraska or Nevada offer is commitable?

Would have to assume they both are. Nevada definitely is as they'll be losing the Martin twins and Jordan Caroline after the season and Nebraska just sent out the offer a couple of weeks ago. Great work by the staff and hopefully they can seal the deal on another visit

Nevada offer is not committable as it stands right now, per a friend who knows the ins and outs there. Said he didn’t even think they were still recruiting him. Not sure on Nebraska but they at least want him out to visit.

He had a bad July game wise. A lot of schools backed off. Siena stayed in him all summer and had a coach at every tourney he played in. I would say he is 1-2 in terms of going hardest after. UMASS would be our biggest competition right now in my opinion

Would have to agree that UMass may be the biggest competition as they've been recruiting him for the last two years

No off campus recruiting in that position. He does have the CR ties but I would think UMASS might have some guys ahead of him recruiting wise and with what they have on roster already. Be an interesting 12 weeks to see what the staff can kand in the early signing period

Have to like that we made his finals list, hardly ever got far with the old regime with the few/handful of “up” kids they targeted in six years.
This kid is a program changer at our level and can definitely play ... we’ll hit on one of these eventually hope it’s MAW.

Kid isnt coming here- if he was coming here he could have played this year. Or we would have one of his scheduled official visits. He didnt go prep to end up at Siena. He is trying to go as high as he can. That's why he is leaving one visit open. Hey I'd love to get the kid, but sorry dont see it happening

To me the cut is one of the 5 officials. Glad the kid kept our name on the list. (Maybe as a favor to Carm?). It's not easy recruiting for a 20+ loss team. Staff has done an admirable job so far. Get two perimeters on their list and it's a great start to successful rebuild.
