4-5 years is the shelf life of a coach at Siena. Win and move on lose and get let go. Time will tell which direction this coach takes. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. The record next year probably won't be much better than last I hope the fans give the guy time and don't start the no coach at Siena has ever lost 20 games and survived. They can blame JP for another year and give JC a pass.

Believe plan would success would be JC stays 4-5 years and then Carm gets the keys to the car. Big reason he came here from an A-10 school.

I don't know what section this question belongs, but I guess this is as good as any. What does the staff do during this period that the team members are at home?

JC and his staff are recruiting and evaluating; JP would host parties to have his staff look at his travel photos...

August is usually the earliest you’d officially visit. Labor Day is a big official visit weekend, then pretty much any weekend after that can be a good time. Bigger schools often have kids come for their midnight madness event but we don’t have an impressive one (unless JC changes that of course). Looking at commits coming anytime after kids officially visit until the signing period ends.
For August, the staff is likely focused on scheduling those official visits with their targets, communicating with them/showing love, prepping for elite camp. The entire month is an NCAA “Quiet Period”, meaning we can’t evaluate players or conduct in-home/in-school visits. Players can visit campus, and coaches can call, text, email, etc all prospects.
Bottom line, not sure how much action we’ll see over the next few weeks. Recruits have been traveling across the country every weekend, so a weekend or 2 off wouldn’t be the worst thing for them. By Labor Day, recruits looking to sign early will likely have cut their list and set official visits.

I assume each coach I assigned a few current players to stay I. Rich with and monitor conditioning while at home
