Same school as Mr. Haddix Haddix played for St. Augustine in NJ. Cantrell Fletcher was from Neumann before it merged with Goretti.

I'm surprised Quinnipiac is not looking for the next Cam Young...

you guys worry about these offers too much. When you see who is coming in on official visits the pecking order of what recruits this staff wants will become more apparent to the causal observer So you’re saying this kid couldn’t say yes right now if he wanted? He has to visit to let us know he’s a “real” recruit?

If Young wanted to commit today, he's a solid MAAC recruit and you sign him up.

He's August Mahoney.......btw, Academy lost the Brown kid, that was a '20 guard prospect, to a prep school.

It’s like picking a girl to take to the prom. Do you put all your energy into the one girl you really want? Or do you put out 4 invitations, and hope she takes it before #4 does?? These kids are like girls. They want to be courted. They want the school to show them the love (see Gary Harris). It is good to see the staff being active, but let’s get our first choice! I would agree with your analogy if we only had one scholarship to fill. With likely at least 4 to fill you offer anyone you think would be a good fit and start to get picky once you have two commits in the bag.

More hand wringing.
Carm is the coach. He was hired, I would assume, because he has a vision for what he wants the program to be. He has worked with a number of very good coaches and recruiters in preparation for this role. He has well developed relationships with not just the City Rocks but other AAU/Prep school coaches. By all accounts, he is a smart, serious basketball junkie who has paid his dues and ready for the job. There really is no reason to parse every little thing he does prior to him coaching his first game.
Leave him alone and give him a chance.

Singelais says 6-5 PG Aidan Carpenter on campus today for unofficial.
#16 on NERR and #1 in Maine...though he's transferring somewhere.
He's athletic..quite.
