This should have been a easy decision for this young man.Chance of immediate playing time style of play.Playing in front of 5000+fans compared to hundreds. The facilities a new coach just hope he doesn't read PPC post cause he's not from the DMV and plays PG.đBut welcome young man. What is your problem? Stop coming for me. I did not send for you

I agree; but in this case we finally have a HC talking about player DEVELOPMENT...and he talks about it a lot. That tells me that he will be evaluating and putting each kid in a position to play to strengths AFTER they get in condition to play his system wherever they fit by position. No more agents dictating that someone has to play the 1-5, no more putting people out of position for shits and giggles, no more pitting against each other. THIS, this is what a coach does in sports, business, parenting and life. You lay out the facts, plan and goals and you build a cohesive unit to work toward those goals who all bring their piece to the table knowing that the 12 others are dependent on them putting forth their best. Yes this coach will put his players in a position to succeed. Nothing is promised except to be treated fair and given an opportunity to earn time..

I'm just putting it out there. These 2 do have some experience recruiting in the areas that Jamion may not necessarily be used to recruiting in at MSM. If he kept them, people would start smiling with clenched teeth instead of ear to ear. If they have allies and a good immediate connection with JC...you never know. Do you really think the new coach isnât familiar with recruiting the DMV? Exactly... He recruited heavy in the DMV

When was the last time a player from DMV was on a MAAC championship team?
So far I've been unimpressed.

Iâm thinking thatâs because itâs too far from home. But one of the main problem for patsos was the initial players originally committed to Loyola. They wanted to play for patsos so they came here but their heart wasnât in it, whether they knew it or not. Thatâs why I hope jc doesnât bring too many guys from dmv unless they truly are recruited for Siena, not msm originally.

I'm a little sick of the state of Maryland as well. But, with JC as the coach, I don't expect us to experience any shortage of Maryland going forward either.
I don't mind getting players from there that don't work out. I'm just sick of the drama. PPC has largely ruined the entire state for me. If someone told me I had to sacrifice one state for the other 49 to survive..right now..I'd probably choose to sacrifice Maryland. It's had a good run.

When was the last time a player from DMV was on a MAAC championship team? So far I've been unimpressed. Kenny Hasbrouck? Technically yes... but he was recruited by Siena while he was doing his post grad year at Maine Central. But he was also supported by Moore (PA), Ubiles (NY), Franklin (PA), Rossiter (NY), Haddix (NJ), Fisher (NY)... also Duell (NY), Jackson (NJ), Wignot (PA), Downey (NY)

I will take NY NJ PA ALL DAY over the DMV Plenty of talent in the Northeast to go around. don't care where he recruits as long as he recruits the players to fit his system and has vision for the program. Like the emphasis on city rocks as the Albany market loves the home town kids. More local kids play at Siena, more attention from the local media, more fans in the seats.

Jamion seems to "get it" he mentioned Siena's traditional recruiting area's in his first day on the job. Hiring his staff with obvious city rocks connections only reinforces what he said. I expect Siena to heavily recruit, NY, CT, NJ and Pa and maybe an occasional kid from DMV
