I was just thinking about another Minnesota-born guy who played one year of college hoops locally, Wheeler Baker for UA. After one year he also transferred to a school in North Dakota! (University of North Dakota in his instance). ...What is it about Albany that drives Minnesota kids to North Dakota?! Wheeler Baker was an exciting prospect with scary daemons...very unfortunate what happened to him. He was arguably one of the most talented freshman I ever saw come through UA. He would have been a star...

I def think style of play does not fit him. Good choice to leave. I dont see the run and gun in his game. Everyone that stays will be in the best shape of their lives Agree and unfortunately there may be several others on last years team which the new running style will not fit. So much of the game is mental, and conditioning part is no different. For,those who have ever run a marathon, there is the wall, where it’s all mental to continue. I sincerely hope the big men can get past the wall with JC. Friday by all accounts great kid, please just come back to,school in shape. All but those 3 freshmen that are looking for other schools will be fine. The team is a family now with a true leader. Friday will lose 20+ pounds with the type of training this coach will bring. They will have to earn their mins and that will encourage hard work.
