Again, I can’t stand the local sports media! They are all Pre-Madonnas. And the know jack-sh most of the time. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 Okay, what the hell is a "Pre-Madonna"? A prepubescent considering losing her virginity? ??

Let me add this..Wyland would hate it if Siena was on top. And Albany was the second best basketball team in Albany!

I don't see it as a barometer either way. When you were exceptional in Fran years, all but one game were nip and tuck. This game is a different beast.

Ua has done well in the NCAA and never emberassing.... Just ran out of steam. We'll get one at some point. Nothing stopping both programs from being good. Albany just signed a 36 million dollar contract to rehab athletic facilities so we continue to build. If folks are expecting UA as an athletic department to take a back seat...if Siena hires the right coach... Good luck with that. Albany is run by people who have some semblance of an idea of how to run and grow an athletic department. Sefcu will be done... And will be very very nice for this level of hoops and will be folded into a growing and improving facilities footprint. Will be interesting to see what this 36 million dollar contract just signed at the end of March will add.

Objectively UA has more resources and more potential than Siena.

Look my template for GREAT sports radio is Mike Francesa, Christopher "Mad Dog" Russo and Rich Eisen! They never would brought up a “leaker” from a sports team! Clearly ..Wyland is Anti-Siena! ALWAYS has been..ALWAYS will be! Remember his pissng matches with Fran?! Couldn’t stand Francesca. He was always all about Francesca. Best sports radio host I’ve ever heard, and I’m not kidding about this, was Granak himself, John Graney. John knew what he was talking about, had well-thought out opinions/positions, did an excellent job interviewing guests, and you have a conversation with John when you called in. He was really, really good. To your other point.......what does it say about RW that he would publicly identify someone as a “leaker”? Don’t media types preserve the identities of leakers/sources at all costs? Maybe that holds true only if the leaker is your leaker, not when it’s somebody else’s source. Still seems borderline unethical to me to put a name out there when he most likely can’t corroborate what he’s saying on air.

Granack (The Magnificent) was by far the best I ever heard. I'll never forget the night that their phones went down and John had to do a 3 hour monologue and it was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, personable and funny as heck! Long live The Granack!

Just to ask the question about Jordan Watson - first of all none of us really know for sure that he was the source of the leaks. Question is this: is it possible that someone at Siena asked Watson to be the good soldier to spill some information to put pressure on JP as JP was fighting resigning and wanted a three year buy out? If that is possible, was Watson working for the college's own good? Just askin'
