I am by no means defending the guy, but let’s put things in perspective. He did not commit a crime and the woman appears to be a nut. Not to mention she committed the crime of extortion and in this situation Pitino is the victim. Go Beilein! But the hookers for recruits? Well he knows who is players are sleeping with than, instead of them sneaking around, they are young men

Didn’t say I favored it, just put the situation factually. Coach’s have to check on players all the time and get them out of escapades all the time, be it sexual or otherwise. Just a fact of life.

Siena should think about a coach that has not been mentioned here during this search. He was a hot name a few years ago, he is still relatively young. Dr. Brett Reed from Lehigh. That hire will get Siena back on track. Maybe not to Fran levels, but right back in the mix every year.

Reed is from Fran's coaching tree, I believe.

Now that could be interesting.... Reed received a bachelor's degree in literature from Eckerd College in 1995.[2] He earned both a master's degree in 1998 and a Ph.D. in instructional technology with a cognate in sports administration in 2003 from Wayne State University.
A cognate in sports administration....hmmm. If that is new wave thinking I'm on board...
