What a very awkward situation. No one talking to each other Jimmy being told to stay away. Then Jimmy can’t help himself and holds a love presser!
The banquet is the 18th signing period coming up - this needs to be expedited! They going to tell Jimmy to stay away from banquet?

I would imagine JP will be suspended (pending results of legaL investigation) or fired by Monday

I agree with most of this post but why would Siena give JP most of what is on the contract? If they do that now they look foolish. They got bad press AND wasted a month. You went this far and seem to have a lot on JP-terminate him and make him take a small buyout. Otherwise this was all a waste.
Oops that post was meant for th other thread by SienaSaintsallyearlong

Best case scenario for the college we all love and support:
a) Terminate JP by Monday morning.
b) Settle the money issue with the lawyers- out of the public view.
c) Hire Patrick Beilein no later than Wednesday so that he can get to work on putting Siena back on the map and not for the stupid things JP does daily.
d) Siena fans EVERYWHERE respond with support for the players, the team, the new coach, and a new horizon! Renew season tickets, give to Saints Alive, and send congrats to the college.
GO SAINTS!

Siena has made a HUGE accusation that hurts JP's ability to find going forward. Coulds still get ugly in the courts. Siena has already taken the risk that it could go there. I am surprised JP didn't work out a deal if it was offered before that news came out. Then it would have been up to Siena as to how to address the charges had they become public.

There is a HUGE risk with every move right now. What Siena needs to understand is that with risk there is also possible reward. The support Siena College will get for terminating this guy will be tremendous! Also, if JP's ability to find another job is greatly impaired by this, here is the bottom line - if the guy did only half of what was reported, he should not be in a coaching position anywhere.

Yes the money issue can be huge. IMO JP attorneys made this play to push Siena higher due to bad press school would receive. Many labor contracts have clauses of arbitration first, does he have it who knows. As said before it’s the lawyers game now.

My guess is they give him one year's salary and he signs a NDA. They can term it a mutual agreement to part ways. I don't think Siena will release any other information. But I'm sure privately they're telling JP what they have. If he continues to fight it be will be terminated for just cause and what little reputation he has left and chance to work in college hoops will be gone. He can spin these two things but not more if it comes out. While they is always a chance he could win the full contract the more likely thing is a long court battle and getting what Siena is offering or nothing at all plus legal bills.
This should be over by early next week - either via resignation or firing for just cause. It's up to JP now what he wants. Last chance to bow out gracefully.

You have zero life experiences, you have no clue what goes on in the real world but you have the drama of Siena basketball all figured out? It's mind blowing. Where do you get your information or is it made up or what you want to happen. They have meds for that type of behavior, get checked out. Good luck.

It’s knowing the difference between a possibility and a probability.

The only people who should be posting here are lawyers with Labor Relations experience. Nobody else here should be posting opinions of any kind even if they clearly preface it by saying 'My guess is...' Besides...MTS has predicted this much better than you this past week. Go back to fluffing.
