On a personal level, I like Jimmy, but I find it ironic that Jimmy is talking about a resurrection when he is the one who has killed the program over the last five years. Jimmy likes you too. youtu.be/zJgOKjq1zfM

Unless I'm missing someone, the only remnants of the "mess" that So-so claims to have found on day 1 of his tenure at Siena are: 1) HIMSELF, 2) Manning, and 3) D'Argenio. He claims to have had a 5 year plan - personally, I never really believed that BS as he is unable to even plan one game ahead other than the historical/famous destinations that he'll work into the team's "practice" schedule. Given Siena's more than obvious acquiescence with So-so's performance/abilities and Siena's financial woes, one can only conclude nothing will change, even long term. We have been focused on the payout necessary to send So-so on a permanent vacation and I fear we have been overlooking the possibility that Siena is more fearful of what future costs may accrue on hiring and keeping a successful head coach.

The Missouri coach took over a team that was 8-24 last year. This year he's dancing with a 20-12 record out of the SEC.
Good coaches win and they don't take more than 3 years to do it. Are you guys are in the administration LISTENING. If you're going to sign an extension morons make sure the guy is winning - not 17-16 but 25+. Effing idiots!

From the looks of things only a few of us will be around for the "resurrection". If you're looking for a team next season Syracuse is going to be very good next season. After a season of telling us how good attendance was, are you now saying it will bottom out?

No, I don’t believe Siena is sabotaging the program. They are just that incompetent.

After a season of telling us how good attendance was, are you now saying it will bottom out? Who knows? Depends on how many actually stay away and how many new season ticket holders are created. The give away to schools and $5 deals will get people there. Judging from this board I see about 20 really disgruntled fans and alumni who might not renew. Some may not be ticket holders and may not attend games to begin with so they won't be missed at the turnstiles.

I don't post much but am probably pretty typical of the less vocal long time season ticket holders; if Jimmy is back I am not renewing.

Yes agree with your thought process. Only thought like to add is that perhaps, hopefully, major donors have made stipulations on the school for donations. Obvious that the school, has not been operating compentantlly and change and revisions are needed. These people aren’t in the habit of throwing good money after bad.

Interesting choice of words during Lent. Obviously intentional and insulting. To say that as a coach at a Franciscan school is inexplicable. Actually, when you stop and think about it, the Easter motif fits - we have a crucified fan base, So-so playing (and playing it well) the role of Pontius Pilot, and D'Arg with the hammer and nails - just not using the hammer where he should. The untalented (their word, not mine) players are obviously the rocks blocking the tomb entrance. The so-called "resurrection" will be facilitated when the rocks are rolled back and scholarships are available once again at the dawn/sunrise of the new Siena Saints. Timing for the actual "resurrection" and ascension into the promised land (aka Post Season play that earns $'s) is at best questionable. So-so, in his Sermon on the Mount told his team to watch the start of NCAA play last night as "that is where they'll be next year" so he is setting the bar at the Limbo level, hoping we get to at least the NCAA PIG round...God Bless us one and all...Peeps anyone - get them now, they won't be too numerous in the TUC next season...

LMAO, great post. Fits the coach AD and school at the present perfectly.
