The yahoo show Bozo was on the was located in California. Vacation and the BS about NCAAs. Makes sense. Like I said before... All signs of business as usual ... trip to CA recruiting, vacation and NCAA show. The CA stuff is essentially meaningless, probably all booked earlier and has no direct correlation with regards to both parties attempting to work on a settlement and JP working on another landing spot. Have to believe both want to avoid the “cause” route. This is a complicated situation and there’s a lot of money involved. Look the possibility exists that JPs back ... eventually the College has to comment given all the rumors. Recruiting under these circumstances makes an already difficult job (especially given JPs trackrecord) virtually impossible. In addition, it’s not right to hold up JPs next round of castoffs who might be waiting for news before they look for new landing spots. Expect to here something soon either way ... this can’t drag out. Watch it go to the FF... Siena will dump it that he’s coming back through Mark Singelais. And they should add don’t forget your money idiots!!!

Jimbo mixing drinks was a nice touch. This ass clown just can’t help himself. I’m sure HJ helped him touch up on his bartending skills last week. Great audition tape for his next career.

Guys -
He appeared on an internet broadcast to talk about march madness and we're going to criticize him for mixing drinks. I mean come on no one even noticed this show happened, it's not like this was the TBS broadcast. This season was very disappointing. People claiming that he has been a disgrace to the program are trying to deflect from the issue that the administration gave Jimmy a contract extension that have put the school in a position where they are stuck with Jimmy. In case you haven't noticed, these schools (administrations) need to protect themselves from themselves. AD's are idiots for the most part, and with their highest profile programs they cannot be trusted to make sound decisions by themselves. Many hire bogus search firms to provide cover so they can pass the blame if the coach doesn't work out.
In this situation Siena paid Jimmy and locked him up long term. Now they want out after a bad season, which they are entitled to do. But in order to do so, they need to pay for their mistake. I'm becoming increasingly concerned with what is now becoming the go to move where schools are attempting to drum up bad publicity to get rid of coaches that are owed a lot of money.
This is happening as we speak at Pitt with Kevin Stallings, at UConn with Kevin Ollie, it happened at GW with Mike Lonergan, and it's happening here at Siena with Jimmy Patsos.
This doesn't absolve Jimmy or other coaches for their teams sub-par performances. But short of a smoking gun, real proof (Mike Rice style) I'm going to take a coaches side the majority of the time. The schools need to pay for their mistakes, and the get out of jail free card of dismissing a coach for cause is their only recourse for their foolish actions. Coaches gotta coach.

I hear what your saying and you do make some valid points. But you probably should have left Mike Lonegran name out.I hope you go back and read that story. He should have been fired with a lot of causes.Yeah it's a business and win you lose and owe people money they'll find a way to not pay.But you know what if you do things the right way and lose they'll just fire you and pay.Because of the coaches being fired recently very few are with cause.JMO

The school flourished with the season ticket money this year but those season ticket holders that stopped attending and numerous season ticket holders other than them that have voiced they won't renew if Patsos is brought back. Most likely a bigger dip in revenue than buying him out.

A lot of those fans won't be back regardless. Therefore they need to make sure they get it right or the problem will compound, even if it means waiting.

"We got a real young team this year, you wait for the resurrection" -JP signing off This was for this board. Lol. Well done JP. Tell us why you want him to return. What have you seen in the last 5 years that makes you think he can challenge for a MAAC title? Or are you satisfied with the results so far?
