Wow full blown attack mode in yet another effort to deflect the topic that the program under this regime is in serious trouble.

If you’re a school making a change, and are delaying saying so for baffling reasons, why wait and thin your herd of candidates? There are justifiable reasons for delays in certain cases. Uconn just fired Kevin Ollie today using the "just cause" provision in his contract. It's the only way to get rid of a coach without paying a buyout (Ollie was owed $10m). If you're going to go that route, you damn well better have solid evidence to avoid a lawsuit. In Ollie's case it was improper workouts reportedly. So if that's what Siena is looking to here (it's their only way out), then they need to have all their ducks in a row first. And gathering the evidence takes time. Which could explain why there are all these rumors of secret meetings and investigations, etc. If Siena is looking to remove Patsos for just cause - and that's a big if - there's no rush. You gotta take your time and do it right. All the successful coaches they ought to be looking at are still playing anyway. Indeed many interviews aren't even held until the final four. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

And MTS isn't the only one who has thrown potential replacements out there so yes that was an attack.

His (realistic ones) was a direct shot at me, but because he's your board son, you stick up for him, and lose credibility.

They got it, they just dont want to spend it....again. Point is, IF JP was def gone, why isnt it done yet? Administration has had months to line up their ducks.

Day 9, west coast recruiting trip, 4 days for 2 coaches. Recruit flying in Tuesday, etc....you tell me. I'll be surprised if he's back, but everyday that goes by, it looks like the buyout number is just too much for the board members to pony up.

Or maybe the most recent thing is the final straw. You don't bring in a chief counsel and hide from the media you so love to engage to keep hype and prices up for nothing.

Ollie played 48 hours ago. We're on Day 9 of the Siena season ending, and flying a recruit in Tuesday. Uconn has the means to pay Ollie should things not go their way. Siena does not. It’s obvious Siena wants Patsos gone. Right now the best chance is a dismissal for cause or a negotiated settlement. After that the next big hope I’d that he leaves ahead of the posse and goes to Loyola. The last choice is Siena simply just sucks it up and pays him to go away. I don’t see how he can remain the coach for another year with the complete circus atmosphere and 95% of the program and their supporters wanting him out. Next will be a nightmare if he’s still coaching this team. And the program will be in even in worse shape believe me. Never keep a lame duck. Remember Fran left on March 28, Hewitt on April 5, Deane April 1...(googling when they left) now obviously it is a different situation but it’s also different from Beyer, Lanier and Mitch who were fired on Black Tuesday. Sienafan is right Siena has to get everything in order. I’m still hopeful it happens soon.

Or the school wants to do it right and also avoid a lot of press as to why they didn’t nail him sooner. I understand Title IX violations are very serious
