School wants him gone, he has big contract to buy out. Best way to eliminate that obstacle is go the Trump way. Trustees asking for any audio/video proof of being a bad boy. They get it, the huge number disappears, and so does JP. Flying across the country today isnt a good sign for the hopefuls. You'd think they'd want to stop all of his spending at his point if he was really gone. D’Arg wants that kid from Cali. Oh well then.....the PRIMO PURVEYOR OF TALENT (D'arg) sent him on a kamakazi mission???

Since he is such a good friend, wouldn't Jimmy want to tell Dave Wojick face to face if there might be a change?

Is it possible they can persuade him to find a gig that would allow him to save face and exit the program. Say if he were allowed/encouraged to go after the Bryant opening? Or who knows how the coaching carousel plays out but what if some job opened in the Northeast that would be a good fit for JP. Say the American job were to become available? Or UMBC/Towson/Mount Saint Mary's if their coaches move up the ranks?
Kind of in the same way that Josh Pastner moved on from Memphis or when Frank Haith got out before the angry mob got him at Miami and Missouri?

I don’t think anyone cares how it happens, as long as it does soon. It could be a message in a bottle for all I care.

How about Tobin Anderson and Jimmy Patsos swap programs. Man I feel bad for those diii kids already but I feel good for Siena even more so let’s get it done.

I'd be ok with that. St. Thomas Acquinas beat LeMoyne....just sayin'.

If he gets the $400k guaranteed for the next 3 years if he's let go and can earn additional income on top of it then he would have absolutely no reason to go for that sort of arrangement. If Siena is only on the hook for $400k minus whatever he earns in a new job then Jimmy is getting paid the same amount either way so just depends if he would rather be coaching or on a nice paid vacation. I hope Siena negotiated the latter but fear they negotiated the former.

It's really annoying that they extended his contract by so much. It's crazy.
You want to reward him for winning the CBI in year one...fine...give him a bonus. Way to soon to extend for a losing regular season. You want to reward him for coming in 3rd in year 3 after a horrible year 2...fine...give him a bonus.
Years 2 & 4 he underperformed the coaches' poll significantly..so really he should have had no more than 1 year left at this point if they knew what they were doing.

I posted it before Fran was not extended until after he beat Ohio State. JP was 52-51 with three years left and D'Arg added two more. For what? Let that sink in.
