Who did it better Iona, Lasalle or Siena with the three peat? How many games did LaSalle win in the NCAA tournament over that stretch? One? Siena - two wins. Iona - Zip.

Before my time but if I’m being fair LaSalle is #1, then Siena and then Iona. Iona can’t sniff an NCAA win and they’ve won a couple of their titles as 3 and 4 seeds. Still a great accomplishment so congrats to Iona. Can’t wait for Siena to get back to being a contender!

LaSalle had the most talent, Siena NCAA games edge them 2-1. I believe LaSalle was a 4 seed in one of the seasons which is ridiculous for a MAAC team.

I have to go with Siena - their dynasty included two NCAA wins and regular season wins against top 25 programs other nationally televised wins. La Salle blew a 20 point lead in one of their tourney games, Iona choked more NCAA tourney games than rest of maac combined

LaSalle, in their last MAAC year ('90?) was hands down the best team in MAAC history.

I believe those Lasalle teams were anchored by Lionel Simmons (1986-90,7th overall pick in the 1990 NBA draft). I think they left the Maac after the 1989-90 season. They had a good team which also featured Jack Hurd, Tim Legler & Ralph Lewis the latter two who played in the NBA.

Doug Overton & Randy Woods also played with the L-Train (national POY)......both of the guys played in the NBA..............for the MAAC, it is LaSalle and then everyone else when implying an all-time team.................

Thanks, how could I forget Overton and Woods. Both first round picks. Three on one team. That will guaranteed never happen again in the MAAC. Getting one is a miracle.

So I went back and looked at the LaSalle teams as they were slightly before my time and besides Siena wasn’t in the maac for the whole time. So LaSalle was 43-1 in the maac from 1988-1990 so I take it back LaSalle is the obvious best dynasty in the maac. In terms of NCAA accomplishments Siena wins but I also have to wonder how much the hank gathers situation affected them.
