You’re obviously not in the loop there’s a reason this might take longer than Tuesday. Are you still predicting a PC on Tuesday? Never said I was in the loop. I wait for you to tell me what's going on. I'm already on record saying I don't think he could survive a single digit win total. I don't care if it happens Tues, Wed or Thur. OneIndian already said he knows it's happening because he heard all about it Thur at the arena. Ask him. He's in the loop. If you’re going to reference me at least get it right. What I said was....that I spoke to someone Thursday night close to the program that said when I was talking about having to contend with Jimmy for another year said in response “maybe not ...we’ll see”. Interpret as you wish.

i dont care who the trustees, boosters etc are that may be involved in any decision making. What I would suggest is if you have been involved in past decisions.... please extract your heads from your asses and get this right. Should the school choose to go in a new direction.... No gimmicks "hire the up and comer assistant", "hire a minority", "promote our assistant" etc. Get the BEST candidate available that fits the school. Get back to creating a program that reflects professionalism, the school and it's values. No more used car salesmen etc. The single thing I would suggest to focus on is envisioning whichever candidates may apply walking into your living room and selling your son's future to be attached to themselves. Stop and think... do i want my son to emulate traits of this person. Someone like Fran who has a way of exuding professionalism and success. Me personally, the past two coaches are NOT someone I want my son and his future to be attached to. I said the same thing BEFORE each were hired. dead on! ... send a letter to Brother Ed! Ours is signed sealed an delivered...wonder if I'll get a response?!

I sent my note on Friday.
I would request that people be courteous and respectful. If you're just out to vent, do so on this board. If you'd like to see a real change then your note should be one that invites the reader to continue reading.
I haven't received a response yet but it has been less than 1 business day. When I have written in the past (end of Mitch's tenure) and I did receive a response.

If there is no change....this thread comes off has one thing: nuts. You should be operating under the assumption that Jimmy is back and not the other way around.
Many of you may be just torturing yourselves needlessly.

Believe me it will happen eventually. #HouseofCards

Aside from any other rumors and hearsay, the biggest hint to me that some shoe is going to drop is that Paul Hewitt was around recently. Have we heard any rational reason for his presence on campus that would not be linked to either the AD or MBB HC positions? Of Course not. This site thrives on rumors and hearsay. While there is a lot of speculation by supposed "insiders" on this site, no one has offered up anything concrete regarding a press conference tomorrow. As previously stated, I heard the rumor last week, prior to the start of MAAC tournament, floating around the referee fraternity. Most likely everything posted on here is based upon the same rumor and conjecture. As for a press conference and JP getting the "Heave-Ho", I will believe it when I see it. And if and when it does happen, I will celebrate it. Time to shut down the "Patsos Experiment" and move the program in a positive direction.

Not sure what’s happening “officially” but i have to believe the College is attempting to work something out .. of course this is just conjecture but if you think about this logically there has to be pressure from within and outside the program, no one is happy, attendance has taken a nosedive, recruiting is a nightmare, players keep turning over and the program is sinking to new all time lows. No Siena coach in the past has survived this kind of performance. Whether it’s now or next year something will be done. It’s inevitable.
Let it play out. Time will soon tell.

Let it play out. Time will soon tell. That's all I'm saying. If he's back there's no use mucking up the interwebs with bile. Might as well let him do his job on the trail now that he's finally doing work there. Maybe all that extra work that he's finally doing will bear some fruit. If he's not gone in a couple days...he's not going to be this year. People might as well accept it. When a coach is fired, you want these things done quickly so you can move on as soon as possible...and the program has direction. You don't procrastinate. Mitch was fired 3 days after his final season ended. We're already at day 4.

Unless a thousand letters are each accompanied with a $1,000 check to fund this thing, it's not going to happen. 3 years guaranteed and Siena doesn't have a spare 1 mill to remedy this- end of story. KK is spot on.

Mitch was fired 3 days after his final season ended. We're already at day 4. Two things: - Mitch didn't have a 7 figure 'buy-out' - other than less than stellar results as a head coach, Mitch had no 'issues' or behaviors that cast an undesirable light on the college.
