add this up Coach Patsos played in the same gym as Tom Hoover, John Thompson, Jr. and 'Monk Malloy at carroll hs on n capitol st. then the good lord sent him to catholic univ to play for the legendary Coach Jack Bruen. he coached at archbishop carroll, against the likes of Morgan Wotton and Joe Gallager jr. he then went to work for Coach Gary Williams and for 13 years and coached the best players in the country on a daily basis - jimmy was a hands on guy and gary demanded excellance - and put maybe three dozen players in the pro s. some are in the hall of fame like all the people Ive mentioned. when he took the job with the worst d1 record in the country I got the chance to sit tableside with Mr Auerbach - who at his own cost hired an ambulance to drive him from chevy chase to Rietz backdoor. Red liked to watch jimmy - said he had an uncanny feel and was good for the game. "keep it simple and work hard" was coach Auerbachs' code. Yes the game has changed and so do people, schools and leagues, but if you are gonna tell the story, tell the whle story That adds up to 0. Microsoft Excel says so.

All you have done is make JP's failure at Siena all the more of a fall from grace. With all that in his past the guy should be winning, recruiting the top players in MAAC and have a few MAAC championships to show with it. Instead he has been a monumental failure and disappointment. And hard as it is to believe, is dragging down the program even lower then when MB crashed and burned it.
So please explain, with all that in his past why is Saints program in the position it is right now with Red's boy at the helm?

all the associations along with the name dropping only takes you so far........take that away, and all he has left is his ability to coach, and that hasn't been good...........so time to change to a new profession, he can use those connections to network into something else, we won't be mad at him for doing that..........
