Rodger Wyland defending JP on 104.5. SMH. Slamming Siena Fans for wanting entertainment. Both guys defending the 'slow burn' offense.

Rodger is not dumb, his "guy" is kicking JP's arse, so why would he want him to leave...............the other MAAC coaches are thinking the same thing...........as long as JP sticks around, opponents are having a grand old time................

Look, I am not defending either guy but Mike Brey has gotten rave reviews of his burn offense used when key guys have gotten injured or suspended over the years. The offense itself, while far from exciting, can be effective and winning is never boring. If playing a slow burn or ugly as all get out gives this version of the Saints their best chance to win, then go for it. (and that is in no way defending JP on the make up of the current roster.)

Mike Brey is a whole different level (or at least that is what all the experts on this board tell me) I'm not saying it can't win games. I am saying I don't think it's going to work on many teams in this league and will get them slapped all the way back to Loudonville against any team not in this league. Look I like John Dunne and respect him very much. He works with next to nothing. We have so many advantages over St. Peter's (arena, fans, media) and this is our level now to come up with an oh so creative (Mike Brey) offense to win a game against them. OK.

Would be nice to see the local press "press" Siena on where it is and where it is going. JP gets softball questions on the radio, press never seems to push the issue or ask the uncomfortable questions. It's just business as usual even though this program is on life support.

Brey didn’t run it like that hot mess last night ... if he did he’d be unemployed
