No doubt inexperience is hurting the Saints- but losing 80% of your recruits will certainly hurt your experience level, and while Singelais is trying to put a good spin on Siena's dismal record, no question Siena has a definite lack of talent in certain key areas. Which again reflects poorly on head coach and his lack of success on recruiting trail. Getting to tonight's game, we are going to need a solid game out of Roman Penn ( bright spot this season) Looks like Khalil Richard is out today with flu--lets hope flu doesnt sweep through team ( do they get flu shots?) after tonight first third of MAAC season will be over either 2-4 or more than likely 1-5 - race is on to see if So-so can get to 10 wins in regular season www.timesunion.com/sports/article/Siena-men-s-basketball-needs-to-come-of-age-12495085.php

I wonder if by "flu" they mean a stomach bug as it is often called that. But my takeaway from the article is the fact that we were in eight games decided by 5 points or less. Gives me hope that our talent level might be better than our record says.

Flu shot? What a novel idea. When I worked in student heath at UCONN each team rotated through for theirs.

Wasn’t he at the game? I was struck by fhe fact Iona went on a 15-1 run and Rex apparently took a nap!

End of the day you are what your record says you are. This is one of least talented Siena teams in a while ( doesnt mean we have no talent) Giving it some thought, I would say So-so Jimbo is worst recruiter we have seen at Siena since Saints returned to D1 in the late 70's
