Thought the substitution pattern was much better - didn't seem just reactionary - the tv angle near the end sucked - remind me never to sit in the low corners - someone was asleep in the control room - not taking anything away from our first MAAC win, but I come away with the view that Canisius' record is better than they are - kids gotta enjoy this one, focus on what worked, work on what didn't and go surprise the Gals...

Siena careless with the ball 18 TOs and gave up way too many easy points and still managed a win 1-3 in maac. 10 wins possible.

Without Nico probably another loss. Tough to win without your best player. Team does play hard and they been in the last three games, just came up short. You were wrong! 😂😂 Yup, played hard and Horns 3 goes in, shot too early, Crumpton 3 to tie in and out. They could be 4-0. I like them going forward..

Yup and it really showed - they like each other and can play and have fun at the same time - when it got tied, it could have easily been given away with a groan and lack of focus - not today

Good for Horn.
(By the way, watching the feed on a Roku Player is sooo much better than the computer!)
Next game: @ Iona, 7 pm, Thursday January 11th, free to watch on ESPN3

Very happy for the kids - Love Jordan Horn, have since I first met him - he more than made up for the TO's with the game winner - he really has to work on his passing - nice win, nice contributions from Tommy and Ahsante was in another zone.... Shivers will benefit the most from Nico's departure. There was a real tug of war for leadership between the two this summer during pick up. Horn can shoot it, but needs to relax on the one-on-one spread. He finally got by his defender on a spin move without losing the ball. Glad he made up for missing that big FT late.

Sorry, but it's funny watching a few of you (you know who yo are)) that can NEVER give this program any credit after a win. We didnt play great. We turned the ball over 17 times to their 3!! Damn, how lucky was Canisius for that?? The big difference is WE finally owned the fT line, not our opponent. We shot 22 and they shot 9. Thats usually reversed in almost every game we play.
Great effort with whats going on right now. We beat the a 3-0 MAAC team ("they're really not good" says SaintsFan) that was on a 5 game winning streak, including a win over Iona. There's just no pleasing some people and thats fine. Thats the people you are in real life, and thats too bad. Not my problem.
Lets see if we can build off this. If you couldnt see a difference in the teams whole demaenor, you're blind. They had some fun tonight. Beat a good team in the league (top half for sure) and didnt play overly well. Well enough to win. Try to enjoy it.

Wow just got back- great win by Saints.. can’t believe the “haters” in this thread.. yes Canisius didn’t play well ( its hard to win on road) OK I’ll say addition by subtraction.. team was much more fun to root for today- Shivers hit some clutch shots, Even everyone ( including me) whipping boy Fisher is playing better, Thomas Huerter – kid is probably our best defender, if we can get some offense out of him he will be a very good player, big shot by Horn. Yes Griffs looked past Saints today, but team played together rooted for each other, was actually fun game to watch probably best home game of year.

I thought the defense was more active today and rebounding was better.

I thought the defense was more active today and rebounding was better. Entire team seemed to play with more energy-- should add Penn played hard also. Even JP seemed relaxed
