key word in your statement, and you said the same thing for the Marist game................today's game is really a toss up, Quinny is not Bryant and better than Marist............but perhaps a short turn around is a good thing, less time for JP to formulate anything, he'll probably just let the players "wing it"...........although he mentioned yesterday he is thinking of subbing in 5 player groups at a time (ala hockey type shifts)...........clearly this is a man teetering on the edge of coaching reality, if he ever had it................

That is incorrect-- I urged caution at Marist game, and in fact picked it has a loss. Could he lose today-- yes , but not likely. He beats bad teams at home normally. You think after 5 years you guys would have him down by now

Quinnipiac isnt as bad as the record indicates... "But Quinnipiac has played in seven games decided by two points or fewer and won four of those, including the upset of Monmouth."
Prior to Monmouth, Quinnipiac played within 7 @ Vermont where Siena was beaten like a red-headed step child. They also beat UMass.

I expect a win today and Nico to bounce back from a less than stellar showing at Marist. People act surprised when he has a bad game, that’s Nicos game he’s a streaky player. When he on he’s great, when off he tanks. There’s rarely middle ground.

When Nico can figure out he’s having a bad night he should work on upping his assist count ... he is almost always double teamed thus he needs to find the open man

Tony, I hope your right but the saints played without a lot of passion against Marist. Makes you wonder if they may have quit on Sir James and his line of BS? I hope The players prove me wrong today and perform the way they did against Hofstra. Quinny did beat Monmouth but Monmouth also got blitzed by St. Peters last night by 13 on the road. It kinda makes you wonder how good Monmouth really is this year. Also Rider beat Niagara by 23 at Niagara and Canisius beat Iona by 7 at home. Crazy MAAC this so far this year or what?

Nico, while talented is an enigma..............if his shots aren't falling, watch his body language, it is awful and it basically translates to, whoa is me I can't make anything.........and not surprisingly, the rest of his game suffers badly................he also displays a lack of a high basketball IQ........like Forrest Gump says, you never know what your gonna get from Nico (the incredible 2nd half performance we saw from him vs. Monmouth in MAAC semi's or the 2-16 shooting night before fouling out recently)..........

I really hope the actual crowd is bigger than I expect - the kids obviously need a lift and some home cooking - can't count on the zebras so it's up to us in the hopefully warm not so cheap seats! Will be interesting to see how the platooning works - will a line be pulled when one of it's members commits a JP mea culpa or will revert to chaos on the subbing? Hope he's clear on the "get it inside" plan- Nico sometimes appears to understand it as "get it inside the hoop"...should be interesting...

Hard for him to bounce back when he isn't on the court and for the last possession of the quinny game A--hole take him out and puts Horn in the game. WTF?
