Safe to say he's been Pennciled in to the starting lineup for the foreseeable future.

Congrats Roman! Well deserved?
Who recruited this kid to the program? Good decision to do so. Could the future be looking for the Saints?

Believe he was an Abe recruit is that right?
I think Penn is a good player for a freshmen point guard. I don't think he has the handle of a Ronald Moore or the explosiveness to the hoop as a Marquis or the shiftiness (sp?) or vision of either one of them, but I do think he has a better looking jump shot than both of them, and he does do all the other stuff adequately enough to be a possible 4 yr starter?
I think how he will be viewed coming out of his freshmen year will be determined mostly on whether he has the confidence level to shoot open shots when he has them; regardless if he has missed his previous shot or two, and to hit that second or third shot after a miss or two when he has it, especially late in a close game.

No, Horn was Abe, Penn was Watson I'm pretty sure.
PPC will some "logical" reason how this could have happened.

Having Penn on campus last year has helped him get a jump. Biggest surprise to date and probably Siena’s most consistent player so far.

Where is PPc to eat crow? Did they kick her out of McDonalds and she lost her free WiFi?

Since Penn practiced with the team last season does that mean he would be unable to transfer from Siena to another D1 school without losing a year of eligibility? That would seem to greatly enhance his chance of sticking around if a new coach was brought in.

He would have to sit out a year and would only have have 2.5 years left. You have five years to complete four years of playing and his clock started mid year last year.

Would make for a weird situation for sure. I think if he transferred mid season it would work out but if he ever wanted to transfer between seasons would they only let him come back and play first semester his final year?

Biggest surprise to date and probably Siena’s most consistent player so far. agreed, and going against Wright the moment he stepped on campus has helped Penn immensely.........kid has been just solid out there this season............not worried the assist totals aren't high yet, with our offensive scheme, we don't typically offer high percentage shots anyway.........in the right flow, Penn would have a higher number of dimes per game for sure................
