The team was able to get a big win, albeit agsinst a horrible NEC opponent. Hopefully there were lessons learned by suits and players. Time will tell. Sorry but ODURO to me has shades of Haddix all over to me. I hope he isn't one of those who was supposed to be a star big man who seems to have perpetual physical issues. A game to take a lot away from that may help down the road.

54 points from bench- "Siena head coach Jimmy Patsos said the reserves, also known as the green team, got the better of the starters (the gold team) in a 20-minute scrimmage on Bryant's court a day earlier. "That team's practiced well for three days,'' Patsos said in a phone interview. "They beat the gold team handily (on Saturday)."- Maybe some of this Green team should be starting... Just a thought. If you play better in practice and the game you deserve to start...

Nico only played 26 minutes less than Fisher and Bentley!

Guys that were BURIED on the bench must have stepped up in practice to get a 4th chance to help the team.

Haddix, with all his limitations, had some offensive skills and consistently put the ball in the basket right from the start of his Siena career. Prince certainly has potential but is nowhere near where Haddix was as a frosh. Where they're similar--maybe this is your point--is their aversion to passing the ball out to teammates when they're mired down low with a double-team.Add OD to that list too...

Haddix was also known as the backhole. Once the ball went into the post you might as well start running back down court as it was either a make or a miss but the only way that ball was coming back out of the paint was if the other team had possession. I was a HUGE fan of Franklin eating his minutes from the get-go

Me too, and I still contend that if Fran had given Alex that last shot in Bridgeport we would have had the title by beating Niagara in their Freshmen year.....
