Or iona or Kent St. Of these teams can play at sefcu so can you. See ya... Good luck! The best thing about the end of the series is you'll have no more need to come out here. Or on the MAAC board. You can join the D-3 board and talk smack with the other SUNY schools. That will be the day a program like Siena, a complete zero in the last decade dictating term. LOL... I'll go to any boar especially maac and not ask your permission... OK? You'll be at sefcu or you'll be playing in a 35% filled cave...

Keep making fun of the 6-7K a night in arena you wish you grew into. Keep dumping money into a gym that barely gets 25% most nights. and of course you'll never leave. we all know that. your obsession with the Siena program is what proves you'll always be the little brother that cant live up....and knows it deep down.

You lie as your breathe. And UA regularly has many more fans than you suggest but that doesn't meet your narrative. You want me to stop coming here? Let me spell it out for you. Stop with the concurrent/multiple running threads about UA. Then I won't have a need to put you in your place... Deal? You and your counterparts (some) are completely obsessed... You can't help but look over your shoulder. Except... You've already been passed... Look at the record last half plus decade...

[/quote] Siena played 13 home games at the TUC last season (doesn't include the MAAC Tournament). Total attendance was 80,196, for an average per game attendance of 6,168. That includes five games with attendance in excess of 6,000, of which two were in excess of 7,000. For the 20th consecutive season Siena placed in the top 100 in Division 1 basketball attendance (currently, there are 347 D-I schools playing basketball). Since Siena moved their games to downtown Albany in the 1990-91 season, average attendance has been 6,550.

The attendance is what it is. I remember the Arc days. Aside from the '88-'89 season, Siena averaged probably 2500-3000 on a given night vs. Maine or Canisius. The move downtown was huge. Truthfully, if UA was at the TUC and we were back on campus they'd probably be outdrawing Siena. As they say in real estate, location, location, location.
The sad fact is that we've lost way too many games to UA recently. UA hasn't been good either. It's due to sh*t coaching. Period. That's not to say that there's a huge gap between Siena/MAAC and UA/AE. It isn't a big gap but in general, Siena/MAAC should beat UA/AE "more". Still, Siena hasn't. Do we have better attendance? Yup (note that all college sports attendance #s are overstated). Still that can change quickly. If they don't turn around the mediocrity soon that change could happen much sooner. I've been a die-hard since the mid-80's. I'm losing interest. The team doesn't win. There's way more dissension on the team than there should be, (some) players are getting into trouble. The team used to be a source of pride. I was hoping to be able to take my son to the games and say - hey watch what they do. All too often it is - see what he did...don't do that.

Glen I disagree on your point that UA would draw just as good as Siena at the TUC. I have season tickets for both schools and believe me there are only a few games, Purple Growl, Siena, Vermont, Stony Brook and AE tourney games where the attendance at the "SEFCU ARENA" is even remotely respectable. For all the other games the GYM isn't even have full. In addition UA would have to increase ticket prices if they moved downtown and this wouldn't sit well with the UA faithful/fans. I still can't figure out why the attendance (especially the students) at the UA games isn't better? Its decent basketball and I enjoy going to the the games.

Siena has a great following, especially for a MM.
