I have to admit that Vermont, Stony Brook, and UA would be very competitive in the MAAC. Vermont and Albany have owned Siena over the last 5-10 years.

He chose a LM in hopes of getting immediate PT. He did not want to compete with players returning to a team in a better conference. Would be my guess Further cementing that you are a complete idiot. The "lm" that smoked your kid who is not not on the way to the NBA but Germany. Safe travels... Lmao. Calling me names does not change the fact that the AE is on a lower level than the MAAC overall. And that's the thing, even if we beat those teams regularly, they still go to the NCAA Tournament on a regular basis. WAY too much is made on this board and elsewhere about losing to "lowly A-East" but Vermont, Albany, and Stony Brook provide just as good opportunities at the mid-major level than any MAAC school and recruit at the same level in most cases. They are comparable programs to any MAAC program.

What year should UA, uvm and sbu not be competitive in the maac ? Half the maac would be bottom half in the AE.

They are comparable programs to any MAAC program. Except those WERE the types of teams we use to "handle" now under Rex not so much. While I agree they are good teams Siena has taken a GIANT step back from where a Paul or Fran had us, unfortunately the decline started when we hired Mitch and then followed it up with another colossal mistake. There is no doubt Siena is not the same caliber program it was...if you can live with that fine, I really can't and won't accept it.....the leadership, dedication, professionalism and determination of this current regime is just not there and it shows. You can't have a head coach on vacation during peak recruiting cycles (see Nash debacle). Rex talks a good game but when it comes down to actions and results he fails miserably!

Although not applicable in Rex's case your TR quote is a nice touch. An assassin of character I'm not, there isnt one sentence in my post that wasn't factual. You may not like it or agree with it but sometimes the truth is just oh so painfull. Read between the lines, I believe Rex to have potential BUT I feel he doesn't give it his all/best. In fact by his actions he comes across as not giving the job his full attention. And the end result during his tenure at Siena and in the MAAC is 5👀! Your record is what you are and so far it's mediocre.

Hey Baltimore Bullet, I think you were to partner up with the right caliber D.C. Gun, the two of you would make for a deadly partnership. Yeah, I don't get some of Siena's more critical fans. I mean I understand their comments and facts but I just can't bring myself, as a Siena Fan, to ever stop rooting/supporting my favorite team. To me, and I'm obviously only one person, it's just counter productive to complain about a coach or admin of my favorite team since I'm going to continue supporting the team in spite of them. If I were that upset, I'd walk into Coach's or John's offices and tell them what I didn't like and ask them how they're going to fix it. But that's just me.

Lol...she boasted for years how versatile and great her kid was and that he leading Siena would dominate the lowly AE/UA. How did that work out? He/they went like 1-7 against the top of the lowly AE...lmao! But her suggesting that de Sousa went to a low major like UA so he can get playing time, this as a mother of a former D1 athlete is apparently the very definition of class. The absolutely finest display of class...mind you when she knows NOTHING about his recruiting process, what he was looking for etc. As she likes to say... Truth hurts!
