www.sienasaints.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/080317aaa.htmlLOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Recent Siena Basketball graduate Lavon Long will begin his professional career in Germany. The Baltimore, Maryland native has signed with the Hebeisen White Wings Hanau which competes in Germany’s second highest professional division, ProA. “I’m off to Germany to start a new chapter in my life,” Long said. “I am thankful for the opportunity to play professionally and I know the hard work I put in at Siena will help me succeed at that next level. The Saints gave me a chance and I will never forget Siena.”

I think Kenny Hasbrouck started out at the same level and is still enjoying a professional career in Europe. Best of luck to Lavon.

Wonder if PPC speaks German?
All kidding aside, nice to see Lavon continue to play.

Congrats to Lavon. A well-earned opportunity. And an excellent country to live in. Culture and language won't be a problem - most Germans can also speak English.

Correct, most speak English and to my surprise it was a beautiful country when we visited there. Best wishes Lavon, go get it.
