Shocking (not) losing more players and potentially another coach!

Too bad. Never given a chance.
In Michael Wolfe and now WB, 2 very athletic bigs who were never developed or given the confidence to succeed at Siena in last 5 years.....what a shame.

I tend to agree, but here is something to ponder, Wolfe never got off the bench at his next school either..........just sayin'

Are you saying Michael Wolfe "developed" after he left Siena? Not according to his stats at "Siena South'. I feel bad for WB who seemed like a great kid but he didn't perform when he was on the court. Often seemed out of place on offense and a defensive liability. Both kids were worth taking a chance.

yup, and that pushes Fisher even lower on the depth chart.............Patsos publically threw him under the bus when he commented to the media that the Evan Fisher experiment is over......ouch...............

I think he is saying that they never got a chance here. The fact of the matter is that we have very little big man development at Siena. Who is the 'big man' coach currently? Manning...nope, Watson (if yes, not for long according to some), Abe (nope)...I know it must have been the DOBO's fault.

I'll miss Willem's athleticism and enthusiasm - even though the writing was on the wall that WB would be leaving after the season with virtually no PT to speak of, he was consistently "in to" the games at the end of the bench, always quick to greet players with smiles and high fives. It's easy to sulk or become despondent in that position, and Willem seemingly did neither. It was a shame that he wasn't given more of an opportunity this year, especially since his one major fault (defensive liability) was the same issue the one player taking his minutes had. Per Patsos on Wyland just now, WB came to him looking to transfer. He said he didn't want to run anyone off... blog.timesunion.com/collegesports/brandwijk-transferring-out-of-siena-basketball-program/22705/A reminder that Willem gave his blood, sweat, tears, AND teeth to Siena:

Who is next?
