Why are we hearing about minutes and depth charts for 2017/18 here in March?
The message should be that it's an open competition.
The only starter right now, should be Nico and no one including WB or EF should be thinking they have no minutes.
If you work your ass off and the results show that come November you are deserving of time, or starting time, or no time, than it is what it is.
Only the results should dictate that. Not what you did or did not do this past year as an underclassman on a team with 4 - 4yr Senior starters.

Since we are talking about players, just saw on the MAAC Board the Hofstra offered Kenny Worley.

If guys are leaving and we have a few scholarships available, I hope we throw our name in the hat for getting Matt Ryan, the 6-7 Sophomore at Notre Dame who just got permission from ND to start speaking to other schools in an effort to transfer out of ND.
Don't really know how he is as a player right now, but he must have been good enough on all fronts (educationally and athletically) to get a scholarship offer out of high school to go to a Power Conference school like ND.
He might be a really good fit for Siena as a high school grad out of Iona Prep in NYS.
About time just as Gonzaga (and Iona) does on a regular basis, that we start going after some of these Power Conference players who aren't getting playing time and who want out and could be very good quality players at the mid major level?

No offense, but a kid isn't leaving ND, a premiere academic institution w/ avenues all over the world, to go to school at Siena College, much less play hoop at a far less level then he has been exposed to his 1st two years. I don't know where he will end up, i just know it won't be siena. (unless JP is Skyping him from Hanoi)

I'd like a shot at him, IF we had an assistant that any type of NYC ties. I do think he played for the City Rocks occasionally too.
I know he's a good student, but doubt he goes Patriot of Ivy. He's an Iona Prep kid, so lets hope.....lol
