After we win tonight, it will be remembered with the past great Siena BB moments (Stanford, Ohio State etc). I've never seen anything like it- he was so hot you could have put a blindfold on him and he wouldn't have missed. Not sure if he can go tonight but if he can't, the seniors need to take it from here. Don't stay home- get down to the TUC tonight- we are the sixth man! Go Saints! I believe that we will win!

Not for nothing, but how can it be a one man show when 2 other Saints scored 20 or more points? Nico's performance was dazzling and he almost single-handedly got them back into the game but the Saints as a team won the game.

anyone notice the change in Nico's shot. He had more arc, lately it seems that he has been shooting on a almost straight line. Whatever he sure shot the light out congrats again.

While Nico was absolutely on fire you really couldn't have faulted Siena if they had simply started to stand around and feed Nico. Instead they stuck to playing team ball the rest of the way and got everyone involved. Great effort all around.

Don't know how much Nico has left but Iona will have to respect him - that's when the seniors claim their stake in Siena history.

We were figuring that because of his bad ankle he was playing more "under control". We believe that contributed to a better shooting night. That and the spirit of the 2002 players.

What Nico DID do single handily was get us back in the game. On a fashion that no one has ever seen on that floor before.

Dwayne archbold scored 30 in the 2002 maac championship game, but although that was an improbable run the game itself was different as the team wasn't behind.

Say what you want, the way that game was going Nico doesn't play we get buried by 30.
That was without a doubt one of the gutsiest performances I've seen in quite some time!

Monmouth failed to exploit Clareth's ankle. They didn't attack him off the bounce and they put Robinson on him so he could just shoot over him without moving.
Stupid.

Kinda hard to believe that kid didn't get any all-league accolades - JO too. Siena's talent has always been there to do this. There have just been chemistry and coaching issues holding them back all season. We're finally seeing the team we were supposed to get this season. And we'd better enjoy it while we can because some really dark times are coming. All those guys you see who can't get off the bench? They're our starters next season.

All those guys you see on the bench...probably still aren't the starters next year. I think the only guy on that bench besides Clareth who may be fairly sure to start is Roman Penn. After that I think it's up in the air and we may see more frosh start.

But even with his heroics, the Saints probably lose by 20 if the rest of the team doesn't step up their game once he got them back in the game. No one is downplaying what Nico did but make no mistake (to use a Tony-ism) that was a team win last night.
