I would like to thank the wonderful Siena Fans that have cheered for and supported my son Lavon and his teammates as they competed over the last 4 years for your Siena Saints.
Siena Fans are the best in the conference and one of the top in the nation. The choice to come here had alot to do with the numbers that come out to every game as well as the awesome Times Union Center.
Lavon will graduate from Siena with his class. I am most proud of that as well as his ability to bounce back from his challenges along the way.
Thank you for making these last 4 years a special time for Lavon and I. Thank you for having his back and treating him like family. We will always think back on this experience fondly. And we will always be Siena Saint fans. #GoSaints

Watching Lavon mature and grow into a the player he has become is what college basketball is all about for myself as a fan. He's got a great future I'm sure on and off the court.

Going to really miss Lavon and all his senior teammates. Hard to believe it's already been four years. Went too fast...but it's not over yet!! Making the trip across the state for Saturday's game...let's hope the Saints give us a "W"...and then two more!

Every 4yrs I pick my new favorite player at Siena. This one happened to be Lavon Long. From his 1st scrimmage at the ARC when he was diving for loose balls, ever attacking the rim trying to score or rebound he instantly became my favorite .It's hard to believe 4yrs have passed and even though my expectations were high this season the TEAM is playing like it should have all season.Lavon's past 2 years have been more than one could hope for after his tough soph. season. Lavon,Thank You for your effort from a Siena fan.PS It's not over yet!GO SAINTS!!

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. ..." m.youtube.com/watch?v=q7vtWB4owdEIt's not over for the seniors until they loose that last game of the season (hopefully not until after the sweet 16).
