Jimmy told he was starting per the article in today's Times Union which quotes the player. Hope he scores! I stopped reading the paper years ago.

Late get this straight. Per JP it's all about the MAAC And he is in Maryland day before last game to tourney when they have a great idea what 2 teams they will play. In the private sector both him and AD be gone. Unbelievable Unbelievable some look at this as something negative. If taking a few hours to see old friends and players is a bad thing the rage has consumed you. Maybe the coach watched film on the short hour flight each way. This is not a good look. Esp, on a short turnover from a close game on Friday and your 4 seniors last reg season game. Watching film is the least of it. Set an example and show some dedication and sacrifice to the guys you are committed to now and the school signing your check. Have a dinner with your team and face time your old buddies at the party now. Plenty of time for personal catching up after the season. Dedication. Sacrifice. Show some.

Todays crowd would have been huge if the game was for second place but I'm still thinking this one will be over 8k since it's Marist, last home game and reasonable weather on a Sunday.

Just for devils advocate was this an event? These coaches go all over ... I'm just judging him on wins and losses and at the end of the day an in season trip isn't the thing that is going to change my opinion one way or another. He should know that if there is no maac title this year next season (assuming there is one) will be "intense".

This is definitely not a firable offense, but more of a chance to set an example to the young men he says he like to show different principles as they travel. Great chance to do it right at home at the end of some careers.

Seems like this is where it starts. You still have a a lot of non-seniors on this team and was a good chance to send a message to them as well as the seniors. Not huge, but seems like one of those intangibles that can mean a lot. Similar to Fran making his team a part of his family. A missed opportunity in my opinion, but if it was just going to be a singular opportunity then it doesn't matter.

In the long run not a big deal but let's face it when you are 14-16 in what was supposed to be a big season the optics of it are very very bad rubbing elbows in Maryland.
I disagree with HJ - This is an important game today Siena doesn't want to be limping into the MAAC tournament. Every game matters in college basketball - only 31 regular season chances. Also Siena needs a win today and then to win the tournament to finish with an overall winning season.

When you win you can do a lot of things. When you are. Or winning these things get scrutinized much more closely. Same thing at any private sector job
